We are a non-typical couple, with non-typical views on relationships. We met online via a dating app, and neither one of us planned on meeting our "true person," but here we are. We took the initiate to manifest and design the relationship we wanted. We took our past experiences from dating and being in long-term relationships and marriages, and asked ourselves what did we learn that we want or don't want to bring to the table in this relationship.
We skipped the surface level dates, and conversation topics and dug deep to really learn about each other. Let's face it, when you're 40+ you don't have time to waste. You've been through life, kids may be involved, you're working, and you're just tired of games, and don't have time to play anymore. So, we dug deep, fast, and learned that we were the perfect fit for each other.
Whether you're looking to rediscover love after life changes, build meaningful connections at any age, or start your second chapter love story - we understand the unique challenges and opportunities that come with dating and relationships after 40.
Each day we continue to do the homework to keep our relationship strong. We call it our proactive relationship toolbox. When we met each other we were both spiritually healthy individuals, because we took the time to truly get to know and love ourselves. Self-love always comes first.
This belief has lead us into a healthy marriage that is not about losing ourselves in each other, or removing our individuality to become one, nor do we have the belief that we make each other whole, or that we are each others other half. No! Absolutely not! This is not a common view, and is definitely not aligned with our religious upbringing, but we have take the liberty to design the type of marriage that works for us.
Our goal is to enlighten others to truly love themselves first, and to then take the liberty to create a one-of-a-kind relationship that is healthy and well maintained by those involved. Let's grow, learn, and laugh together as we navigate what it truly means to be in a healthy relationship.
